Abstract

The current design procedure of rigid pavements for military roads, streets, walks, and open stor­age areas was reviewed. The two computer programs used in the current and the elastic layered method were described. The development of the procedure using elastic layered method and the discrepancies between the two procedures are presented. Design example was given illustrating the procedure for designing rigid pavement for military roads and streets.
