About the Journal
The International Society for Concrete Pavements (ISCP) proudly presents the proceedings of its landmark International Conference on Concrete Pavements, held every four years as a continuation of a tradition that began at Purdue University. The inaugural conference, organized by Dr. Eldon J. Yoder in 1977, and the subsequent gatherings in Indianapolis and at Purdue University, laid the foundation for rigorous inquiry and global collaboration in concrete pavement technology. Dr. Yoder’s dedication and expertise set the tone for future conferences, commemorated notably at the Third International Conference in 1985.
These early conferences spurred the establishment of the ISCP in 1999, ensuring that the legacy of innovation in concrete pavement design, construction, performance, and maintenance would thrive. Over the past decades, the ISCP has continued hosting these conferences.
In alignment with ISCP’s mission of advancing knowledge, fostering research, and driving innovation, our Open Journal System serves as a vital platform for researchers, engineers, and practitioners worldwide. By promoting open access, we encourage the dissemination of peer-reviewed studies, case histories, and emerging technologies that collectively enhance best practices and sustainable infrastructure development. Through these conference proceedings and the broader journal collection, ISCP remains dedicated to empowering the global concrete pavement community with the insights and tools necessary to build safer, more resilient pavements for generations to come.
