Abstract

This paper presents the concrete overlay design procedures now used by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Methodologies developed at the US Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station to evaluate the load-carrying capability of existing pavements and to design the overlay using nondestructive testing techniques are also presented.
