Abstract

Predictive models were developed for pumping, faulting, cracking, joint deterioration and present serviceability rating (PSR) using data collected in six states on 418 individual pavement sections representing 1305 miles of jointed concrete pavement in a wide variety of climates and designs. Results showed that it is possible to develop fairly comprehensive life prediction models using data from inservice concrete pavements. These models provide valuable insight to improve concrete pavement design, construction, maintenance and rehabilitation.
